This section is the site’s backbone: a verified registry of collectible platforms — tokenised card vaults, licensed digital collectibles, playable TCGs — where every profile carries a dated status and the evidence behind it. The registry’s job is to stop the most common failure in this space: content recommending platforms that quietly died years ago.

How a record earns its status

Every profile shows a status pill and a Verified {date} line. Behind it:

• Primary sources first — official site, docs, blog, status page — before any press.
• A written evidence trail — the profile’s Sources section lists every URL checked, with the verification date.
• A scheduled re-check — each record carries a next-review date based on its status; active platforms are re-verified on a 90-day cycle.
• A downgrade rule — status only gets worse on official confirmation or two independent reports. Marketplace volume alone is never proof a platform is alive.

The questions each profile answers

• What you own / who holds it: physical backing, custody model (self-custody, platform-custody, vault), wallet requirement.
• Can you redeem? how and whether the physical item can be claimed — the exit that defines vault platforms.
• What chain? where the ownership record lives.
• Is it licensed? for sports/entertainment collectibles, whether the IP is licensed.
• Fees, dated: plain-English fee notes that point to the platform’s own schedule, never a promise.

What the registry is not

Not a recommendation engine — an active status means “verified as operating on the evidence date,” not “we endorse buying from it.” Not exhaustive — new platforms are added only after an evidence pass, and some are deliberately excluded (token/presale-driven products, yield schemes, pure gambling mechanics fall outside this site’s remit). Not static — statuses change with dated notes, and the audit trail is part of the record.

Bottom line: before you trust any collectibles platform, check whether it’s still verifiably operating — that’s the one question this registry exists to answer, with dated evidence you can check yourself.
