Start Collecting on Beezie — The Claw, Vaulted Cards, SWAP
Beezie tokenises graded collectibles — trading cards, sports cards, comics and magazines — into tradable items stored in Brink’s-operated vaults, on Flow and Base (Solana is announced, not confirmed live). Its signature surface is The Claw: a chance-based claw-machine pull where you pay first, reveal a random item, and get 15 minutes to SWAP it back for a set value or keep it. This guide covers the mechanics as of September 2026, from Beezie’s own documentation. For the platform’s standing record see its registry profile.
Eligibility gate (Terms of Use, July 2026): the platform is offered only to US residents aged 18 or older — or 16–17 through a parent or guardian’s account — so Australian readers cannot currently open, fund, or vault on Beezie. Shipping to 150+ countries is a redemption delivery term for eligible users, not signup eligibility; “international vaulting” in the docs likewise serves eligible users sending items from outside the US. The rest of this guide records the mechanics as documented — it is not a how-to for Australian residents.
Sign-up: email, Google, or a wallet#
For eligible users, log in with email (one-time code), Google, or an existing crypto wallet. Beezie’s docs describe accounts on the Flow network and note you can connect with an Ethereum-format address — the service provides a wallet layer (the “Beezie Wallet”) so a crypto wallet isn’t required to buy, hold, or redeem. Two details to know before you fund anything: each chain runs on a separate URL per the multichain FAQ (check you’re on the one holding the inventory you want), and KYC — identity verification — is required for vaulting items, per Beezie’s FAQ.
Three ways items reach you#
The Claw. Pick a machine, pay — the options differ by chain: Flow takes Beezie Wallet, card, Apple Pay/Google Pay or crypto (cross-chain payments are live), while on Base credit-card pulls are not yet live per the multichain FAQ, and USDC funding runs through Coinbase — and the claw reveals a random graded or authenticated item. A “View Odds” button on each machine publishes the odds — read them before playing; the displayed odds assume a fully stocked machine per The Claw page, while stock itself rotates dynamically with current inventory per the FAQ and Terms — read the machine’s current odds before each pull. You then get 15 minutes to either hold the item or accept the SWAP offer — sell it straight back at the displayed value minus a 6% fee, credited to your Beezie wallet in about 30 seconds. Decline or expire and the item lands in your Collection, free to list or redeem later. (The Claw is a chance-based purchase — pay first, outcome at random. Treat it like any blind-box buy and size your spend accordingly.)
The marketplace. Category pages (TCG, sports, comics, and more) with a ‘For Sale’ filter and search. Sellers list from their Collection at a set price and see the net-after-fees amount before confirming; listings can be cancelled anytime before sale. Each marketplace sale carries a 6% fee (platform + creator combined) per the marketplace doc — the docs phrase it as “on items purchased,” and sellers see net-after-fees, so read your exact charge at checkout.
Vault your own. Beezie accepts graded or authenticated items only — trading cards, sports cards, comics/magazines — graded by PSA, BGS, CGC or TAG (other graders go through support first; ungraded items are rejected and returned at your cost). KYC is required for vaulting. Tokenisation takes 7–14 business days after the item reaches the vault; until it arrives and is signed for, transit risk is yours. Fee tiers (per shipment, September 2026): domestic US — $1,000+ total asset value ships free with no processing fee, under $1,000 is $5/asset plus your shipping; international — $1,000+ still carries no processing fee but you pay shipping either way, under $1,000 is $5/asset plus shipping. The eligibility gate applies first: international vaulting is documented for eligible US-resident users sending items from outside the US.
The fee picture#
As of September 2026: 6% on each marketplace sale, 6% on SWAP returns, $5 per asset + shipping + US sales tax at redemption (bundled into one Stripe payment link), storage and insurance free per the Storage and Insurance doc. Vaulting: free at $1,000+ domestic ($5/asset under), and international vaulting never includes shipping regardless of value. Verify at checkout — these are the documented figures today.
Redemption: claim up to 30 items#
From your profile menu, ‘Redeem’ lets you claim up to 30 items in one redemption. The flow: pick items → enter shipping details (locked once confirmed) → review, where you select insurance coverage and amount → pay via wallet, card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. A single Stripe link bundles the $5/asset redemption fee, shipping and US sales tax. Shipping quotes include insurance and signed delivery, with optional higher cover at review; high-value items can request white-glove service. Delivery runs 3–7 business days for US shipments after processing; international varies by destination and customs, and Beezie ships to 150+ countries via Brink’s logistics for eligible users (see the gate above). One hard limit: Beezie cannot ship to third-party vaults — only to you.
The custody reality#
Beezie operates no vault of its own — everything sits in Brink’s-operated high-security facilities, each item sealed and RFID-tagged. The Storage and Insurance doc states collectibles are insured at their market value at the time of deposit — documented coverage, but the underlying policy terms aren’t published, so cover depth and exclusions are unverified; vault countries aren’t listed publicly. The token trades instantly while the physical item stays put — see the custody models explainer for what third-party vault custody means when a platform exits.
The checklist before you play, buy or vault#
- [ ] Chain checked — Flow and Base run on separate URLs; Solana is announced, not confirmed live. Know which site your items live on
- [ ] Odds read — every Claw machine has a “View Odds” button; odds assume full stock and change with inventory
- [ ] SWAP window known — 15 minutes from reveal to accept SWAP (item value minus 6%), then it’s gone; the item sits in your Collection either way
- [ ] Fees mapped — 6% per marketplace sale, 6% SWAP, $5/asset + shipping + US sales tax at redemption; storage free
- [ ] Eligibility confirmed — US residents 18+, or 16–17 via a parent/guardian account, per the Terms of Use; the international vaulting tiers only apply to eligible users
- [ ] Grader accepted — PSA/BGS/CGC/TAG only; ungraded items rejected and returned at your cost
- [ ] KYC ready — required for vaulting per the FAQ
- [ ] Redemption limits known — 30 items per claim, address locked at confirm, no third-party-vault destinations
- [ ] Service terms noted — Beezie’s ToS documents no shutdown or asset-return provision for vaulted items (checked September 2026); custody sits in third-party Brink’s facilities under a platform-arranged partnership, so the continuity story rests on the vault arrangement, not on a ToS promise
- [ ] Registry record read — check the Beezie profile for current verification state and run the platform evaluation checklist before vaulting anything valuable
Bottom line: Beezie’s shape is the gamified front door — The Claw’s pay-then-reveal mechanics with a 15-minute SWAP exit — backed by real vault logistics (Brink’s facilities, RFID tracking, deposit-time market-value insurance, free storage) and the widest shipping reach we’ve documented (150+ countries). The costs live in the margins: 6% per marketplace sale and per SWAP, $5/asset redemption, and shipping that’s never covered for international vaulting. The standing gate is the Terms of Use — US residents 18+ (16–17 via a parent/guardian account) as of September 2026. Re-check the registry record and the vault-platform comparison before sizing a position.
